J Devine Civil Engineering, a prominent member of the renowned Devine Group, extends its deepest appreciation to the entire team for their unwavering commitment and exceptional work at the North Whiteley development throughout this challenging year. Despite rising costs and recruitment difficulties, the team's passion and dedication have ensured the delivery of top-notch results for their esteemed client, Vistry Group, comprising Bovis Homes and Linden Homes. J Devine Civil Engineering would like to thank all staff members, management, site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. Together, they have exhibited remarkable resilience in overcoming obstacles
and achieving outstanding milestones.
The Devine Group team has shown passion and determination throughout the whole project.
J Devine Civil Engineering has had the privilege of working with Vistry Group on the North Whiteley and Chichester projects for several years. In late February 2023, the company was entrusted with several new phases at North Whiteley, requiring the movement of approximately 30,000m3 of muck during one of the wettest March periods on record.
Since then, the team has successfully completed the construction of all roads and sewers for 270 houses, including excavating and pouring over 150 traditional foundations. Additionally, 126 units were piled and ground beams cast, showcasing the company's expertise and commitment to excellence.
With a determined focus on meeting targets, the team now sets its sights on completing an additional 50 oversites, drainage systems, and parking facilities for phase 12c by the end of June, all while upholding impressive NHBC scores of 5 and 6. J Devine Civil Engineering would like to extend a special thanks to the outstanding site management team at North Whiteley, comprising Lee, Leon, John, Ricky, Tom, and Phil. Their exceptional leadership, combined with the unwavering dedication of all site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers involved in phases 6, 13, 15, 12a, and 12c, has contributed significantly to the project's success.
